Kidzone happens once a year in July which is the New Zealand winter. It is a well-loved celebration for 3 days. It is exciting and fun and breaks up the winter doldrums.

During all the excitement, parents and their children would enjoy a quiet place. While using oil pastels, inks and dyes they'd  create self-portraits as keepsakes of that year.
