We knew we could count on kids to come up with fascinating drawings and paintings!

 

Here were some of the questions we asked to make them think critically and creatively:

1. What does ‘fast’ look like?

2. Show ‘energy’ being made by the kid on the skateboard zooming by!

3. What happens to colors when they’re moving so quickly you hardly can see the paint on the bike or the color of her jersey?

 

After scooters, skateboards and bikes went jumping and leaping into the air and doing fancy tricks, another group of kids went to the velodrome where athletes were preparing for the Olympics and practiced going round and round in front of us. It’s amazing they can go up very high on the sides of the velodrome and not fall over. What makes them “stick” to the sides?
